I had to watch your video two times to make sure I fully understand you. I know International Sign Language, Israeli Sign Language and ASL is my first language. First..I LLLLOVE Gestno (International Sign Language)!!!! I do understand you saying that we need to do more video than writing so that we can better see our facial expressions with mood.

I agree and wish it is faster to video and upload video as typing. For me to do video is a little time consuming but I try to video myself when I feel it is worthwhile to do it.

I am really glad to see you speaking for everyone on International level. Many ASL signers have limited exposure to Gestuno. Soon more ASL signers will watch you and maybe other new vlogger who use Gestuno and hopefully they can learn how to use Gestuno.

I will video myself in response to your posting later using Gestuno, I PROMISE!!

I tried to locate your e-mail address and cannot find it, please kindly e-mail me at AnneMarieBaer@mac.com.

Gestuno (that's a new vocabulary for me, thanks Anne Marie)... I'm a fluent ASL user and I'm amazed of how I understood what you were saying in your vlog. International sign language is facinating!

As for the ILY sign in ASL... The reason why we sign ILY is because of the I, the L and the Y being put together at the same time. That makes the ILY sign. This sign should be spreaded around the world and hopefully that particular sign can be part of Gestuno.

Thus, I'm fluent in ASL and I that can appear to recept Gestno visually, I would LOVE to start learning how to use Gestuno.

People around the world would be amazed of how ASL users can pick up Gestuno FAST! :)

Lee, that's good to know 100% ASL signer with little to no exposure to Gestuno still can figure out!!

I think many ASL signers can do that. It takes a little time to figure out Gestuno. Facial expressions are almost the same, signs are different but still they make sense and sometime they are better than ASL signs, good examples are sex signs if someone can show them. Not me unless if I get really mad. Ha Ha..

I was fascinated with your sign language. You signed \,,/, for ILY, and then signed "|||" --
in a closed three-finger handshape (index finger, middle finger, and ring finger). Is it Gestuno for "I love you"? Is there a book with illustrations for Gestuno? I would love to learn it.

Anne Marie, I agree with you 100% that many ASL users can do that. It might take some time, but patience is the best key to learning. I took French 1 and 2 through high school at ASD (In West Hartford, CT) and learned LSF and French (Francais in writing), then took a two-week tour in France (Paris and Bordeaux) back in 1995. It was very educative in their language, culture and its history.

ASL is well applied to LSF and and how it has had changed from time to time.

Therefore, international sign language can be applied to any languages in sign internationally, especially in LSF, BSL and ASL combined. Very interesting! And absolutely educative. :)

Jean, I was going to ask the same thing if Gestuno has been printed in a book with illustrations. Maybe DeafBetty could be the first to publish a book of Gestuno.

May Gestuno be the LASTEST sign language of all! ;)

WOW! I love you! Thank you! I think I understand most what you said. I agree that all sign Languages in Europe and also all over the world should be preserved. Even though, I am fluent ASL, I also want other foreign sign languages to grow strong. I want to learn. Now I know what ILY sign in Europe. So I am using III now rather than _\m/

I agree ASLPride's recent Vlog about Crab Theory. It is amazing and very educating. I love to learn too.

I trust it will turn out something amazing in near future, thanks to all ASL Vloggings. I look forward to more of your vloggings. PLEASE!

Thank you again,
Bob Rourke

The III sign reminds me of boy scout pledge because I was once a boy scout, myself. It can be confusing to the public. I'm not saying that III sign should not be used as an ILY sign. This is just a FYI (for your information).
